"Vase with Saffron Glaze and Gilt Lotus Scrolls"
Qing Dynasty, Qianlong period, 1736-1795 AD
This gilded lotus vase was made during the seventh year of the Qianlong reign in the Qing Dynasty. It is 12.4 cm tall, with a mouth diameter of 3.5 cm and a base diameter of 4.5 cm. It features a straight mouth, long neck, rounded belly, and ring foot. In the Qing imperial court, this type of vase with a slightly wider and longer neck was known as a paper mallet vase. The exterior is covered in cobalt blue glaze, with patterns painted in gold and silver. The rim and shoulder are each adorned with a band of interlocking patterns. The neck and belly are painted with scrolling lotus flowers, and the bottom edge and ring foot each feature a band of lotus petals and scrolling grass patterns. The rim and foot are gilded. The body is thin and pure white, with white glaze inside and at the bottom. The bottom center is inscribed with "Made in the Great Qing Qianlong Period" in three lines of seal script in underglaze blue.
This collaboration with the National Palace Museum integrates the "Porcelain Mallet Vase with Enamel Glaze and Gilt Lotus Scrolls on a Blue Ground" into the product. The vase serves as inspiration, with the pen and pen holder as the medium, creating exquisite stationery that carries classic art. The pen is transformed into an elegant classical vase, and the pen holder becomes a tray that complements the vase. The combination of the two pieces makes the pen a work of art, adding brilliance to life whether used for writing or displayed when not in use, with thoughtful details in every aspect.

From the three-dimensional hollow carving on the upper pen cap to the gilded lotus pattern printing on the lower pen barrel, and the scrolling grass patterns on the two golden end caps, all reflect the details of the collection.
Finally, the lower barrel is designed with a slightly convex curved angle, showcasing the beauty of exquisite craftsmanship in every detail.

It is recommended to remove the weight of the pen cap and only use the weight of the pen body for writing, combined with the specially designed slightly convex curved pen body, to provide a more comfortable grip.
