ARTEX Fountain Pen Inking Guide

All ARTEX fountain pens are designed for use with both cartridges (disposable) and converters (reusable, requires separate ink purchase). You can purchase the relevant accessories according to your needs.

【Cartridge】

This refers to the product included in your purchase; it is disposable and cannot be refilled. It comes pre-filled with ink. To use, insert the end with the ball into the pen's nib section, then point the nib downwards and wait for about 3-5 minutes before use. If it still doesn't write or the ink flow is uneven after waiting, you can try gently pressing the cartridge tube with your fingertip to accelerate ink flow towards the nib, or check if the cartridge's ball end is properly inserted into the pen's nib section.

【Ink Converter】

This requires a separate purchase of fountain pen ink, similar to how a water bottle needs to be filled with water. Converters are reusable and can be paired with various inks available on the market, satisfying ink enthusiasts who enjoy experimenting with different colors. However, it's important to note that converter specifications may vary between different pen brands, so please confirm compatibility before purchasing.
